Draw Near to Me

I  was in my morning prayer time worshiping the Lord when He began to speak this word to me.

Do not fear no matter what you see happening around you. The times are evil and evil shall abound in this time but it shall not come nigh you while I am protecting you.

Draw near to Me in the secret place for I shall give you great wisdom to walk in this time. You cannot survive what is coming without Me. Draw near to Me and know My love for you. Know how I care for you. I shall comfort your souls here in the secret place.

Strange signs shall abound. Things are not as they appear to be. Much is happening behind the scenes you know not of.

I desire you not be deceived, My children, though you live in the time of great deception. It is not possible for man to see through such great deception without My power, that is why you must draw nearer to Me.

In our intimate times together, I shall reveal much you need to know to walk in darkness. My light shall illuminate your way before you and make your way clear.

Fear not, only come to Me.

James 1:5: If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

II Timothy 3:13: But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Psalm 91:1: He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Psalm 119:105: Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

  1. Lord, I have nothing to fear because I know you long for my dedication to you. I place my trust and hope solely in you and not in the world, or the things of this world. I pray that others may also do the same, and that you may give them the peace and tranquility in their souls which only comes from the truth. Lord you are the truth, the light, and love of this world. May it abound abundantly and freely to all those who seek it and wish to accept it in their hearts. Change there lives. Renew their spirits. Lord, when your judgements come to pass, deliver your people from evil. Hear our prayers! I say these things humbly in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Amen.

  2. Glynda,

It's 1:30 in the morning here and I've been unable to sleep for over an hour now. Before I went to bed, I asked God if there was anything He wanted to show me to reveal it to me, whether through a dream, vision, His word. Could this be why I'm awake? I think so (and please know this does NOT come from an arrogant or prideful heart)

I woke with a heaviness in my spirit, even an extreme sick feeling to my stomach. I ended up calling a good, Christian friend to pray with/for me and in the process began to weep. We hung up and I began to really pray/seek God about what I was feeling.

I started out wrestling with my own doubts that God was really speaking to me. I do this often, as I desire that what I share with others that I feel from God is TRULY from God. After I prayed my way through those feelings, this is what I feel God gave to me and thus I sobbed even more. I can feel God's heart of GREAT sadness, pleading with people to COME HOME; to return to Him. I have sensed in my spirit for a few days now that everything that's about to unfold is just beneath the surface. God IS calling us to stop playing games and get serious. Question is, will we do so? I know I struggle with certain things and fear I will miss God. But I HAVE to choose to overcome the lies of the enemy and continue pushing through.

Anyway, this is what I felt in the wee hours of the morning praying:
    ------------------------------

    EZEKIEL 12: 20-28, specifically verse 28

20 The inhabited towns will be laid waste and the land will be desolate. Then you will know that I am the LORD.' " 21 The word of the LORD came to me: 22 "Son of man, what is this proverb you have in the land of Israel: 'The days go by and every vision comes to nothing'? 23 Say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am going to put an end to this proverb, and they will no longer quote it in Israel.' Say to them, 'The days are near when every vision will be fulfilled. 24 For there will be no more false visions or flattering divinations among the people of Israel. 25 But I the LORD will speak what I will, and it shall be fulfilled without delay. For in your days, you rebellious house, I will fulfill whatever I say, declares the Sovereign LORD.' " 26 The word of the LORD came to me: 27 "Son of man, the house of Israel is saying, 'The vision he sees is for many years from now, and he prophesies about the distant future.' 28 "Therefore say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: None of my words will be delayed any longer; whatever I say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign LORD.' "
    -------------------------------

Time is running out and I sit here tonight weeping for those who will be taken by surprise as they are rejecting the warnings that God is crying out through people like you and others who so faithful in sharing them.

    Always praying for you.

    Hope

  3. My apologies...I missed one verse. It should be Ezekiel 12: 19 - 28. I left off verse 19. (Oh so tired here)

    Blessings.

  5. Drawing near to God has been on my mind recently. This certainly fits with your post.

Jas 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

I was also listening to the bible this morning about how God fights for His people.

    Deu 1:30 The LORD your God which goeth before you, he shall fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes;

    He is our Savior!

  6. I asked the Lord about what it means to be a wise virgin or an unwise. The standard answer we get from the popular christian culture is to be busy about the Lord work, is a wise virgin.

This is what the Lord told me:
Remember Mary and Martha? What are the main points? I replied," Martha was busy making preparations. Mary was at your feet. Martha was upset that Mary was not helping with the preparations. She asked You to make her help. You said, "Mary has chose the better thing, I will not take that away from her." Then the Lord said, "Martha did not hear the words I was speaking, why?"

"Her mind/heart was full of ire over her sister not being like her, busy preparing."

Jesus, "Could Martha come over and sit down too?"

"of course, but You didn't tell her to"

Then Jesus said,"I offered the invite by telling her which way was better, but you are correct I didn't tell her to. That choice was hers." "So who was wise and who was unwise?"

This exchange took place last night. And I realized that busy about the Lords business can mean sitting at His feet.

I thought that it was an odd example at first because He deeply loved both of them. After thought though I think it was the main point of the story. There are other lessons to learn there to, however, desiring to sit in His Glory is wise. Was Mary perfect? No she wasn't. Did Jesus tell her all about her sins and tell her she needed to get right. We do not know, but I highly doubt it.

The sick know they are sick, is what Jesus says.

  8. My friend Sharon sent me a message sharing something the Lord spoke to her. I share it here with her permission - the part about an hour not being an hour any more really hit my spirit:

"Say to My people: humble thyself, seek My face. An hour is not an hour to the land as in old. The hour has been shortened. Say to all for His coming is at the door. Is your gown white?"

Thank you, Sharon, for sharing this word with us!

  9. I had a friend recently who expressed the same feelings of time being so short and it not being the "time" that we each feel/think. I sense a growing urgency to stay focused on God, draw closer to Him and stay there.

Thank you for your faithfulness in sharing each word from God.

  10. Hi Glynda, I just discovered your amazing website and I am grateful to God for his showing me direction to find this site. The messages you receive resonate in my heart and soul and I thank you for following your mission from God in updating us on His message. So I have been reading all your posts to "catch up" and when I came across this one I was a bit confused. Within the message God mentions a few times about going to a "secret place"; can you elaborate any further on what this means? Is He speaking about going to an actual physical place? I hope you receive this message and I would really appreciate a reply if you can. BTW I'm from Texas too so a great big Howdy is in order :-). Anyway, thanks again and God bless us all and keep us under His protective wing and that we might put on His armor to keep us safe and may our eyes and hearts be on Him every breath and beat of our hearts. Amen!

  11. Hi McClain - Glad to hear from another Texan :-) and very glad to know you are enjoying the website! The secret place of God is a place of special intimacy between you and Him. I talked about it some on my Blog Talk Radio show about Psalm 91 I think - you can listen to that through the Blog Talk Radio player here on the site, in the side bar to the right. Hope this helps - Blessings! Glynda
