Still Waters

Beside the still waters. So many of My children are weary from the world’s cares, and weary in their souls from the enemy’s attacks on their lives, but I desire to lead them beside the still waters.

As you sit quietly and think on Me, My Presence permeates your soul, and calms you. I grant My peace to all who make time for Me in this way. The still waters of peace gently flow, lifting the cares of the present world away from you.

Come, My children, and partake of the peace I have provided for you and rest your weary minds in My Presence.

Psalm 23:2-3
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Philippians 4:7  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

  2. This just happened to me after I have prayed and worshipped The Lord.I have been weary about the enemy attacks and not being caught up in the cares of this world...I felt The Lord redirect my mind back to his will on my life.

  3. Please pray for me..it seems like the enemy is winning and turning away against me. I feel alone for real. Even my own family is against me. There's only two people I used to go to school with...and I don't really know them that well.

  4. A, humble yourself before the Lord, bow your knees before His throne. Cry out to Him,acknowledge your need of Him, that without Him, you are nothing, you have nothing and deserve nothing. Tell the LORD that you failed Him everyday and desperately need His forgiveness, His presence. Confess all your sins; mean it, without hiding anything from Him. He will forgive you and you will feel His peace inside you. Read His Word every day, and meditate on it. Don't miss praying and bowing before Him everyday;it is very important to repent of your sins daily. Gradually, you will notice the Lord's presence in your life, but you have to seek Him with all your heart. If your family is turning against you because you love God, rejoice! for He is close to you. Do not be concerned by this world for this world is fading away, its end is coming soon, but wrap yourself around in the Lord, then because of the perfect peace He has given you, nothing will bother you as long as you have surrendered everything to Him. As in Isaiah 26: 3 says, "You will keep in perfect peace all who trusts in You; whose thoughts are fixed on You." REMEMBER: IF YOU HAVE THE LORD, YOU HAVE EVERYTHING, AND SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD, AND ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE ADDED UNTO YOU. If you have the LORD, you will NEVER FEEL ALONE!

  5. A, do not go by how you feel, stand on The Word of God. Read the Psalms. Sing and praise Him for His goodness, no matter how you feel. Keep praising Him and standing on the promises of God.!!

    We are praying for you.

  6. Janette: thank you for the prayer...it was perfect for Yom Kippur, and God has also been speaking to me about repentance. I would not have prayed that myself in my guilt/sorrow (which was prideful and didn't lead to repentance).

Rebecca: Thank you for praying for me in my weakness!!

Ali: You're right..I feel alone and isolated, but God is still with me. I have been reading Psalm 23.
